Nicholas Trick or Treats

This past weekend (Nov. 3rd & 4th), Nicholas came to our place and did a little trick or treating. He donned his monkey suit for us. He wore it for awhile so we could take our photos of him.


Nicholas enjoyed his new found ability of crawling. He spent lots of time crawling on Doobie and chasing around Ginny.

Ginny behaved quite well with Nicholas. We were afraid that she would scratch and/or bite him because she plays with me rough. But, she was actually a little angel this weekend. She batted at Nicholas several times and gave him only one little scratch. And he didn't even cry!

Although there are no pictures of Nicholas interacting with Doobie, Doobie was wonderful with Nicholas also. Nicholas would crawl over him and Doobie showed extreme patience, never once biting or nipping at him. The worst she did was stand up and walk away when Nicholas was crawling on her.

Grandpa spent as much time with Nicholas as he could since he doesn't get the opportunities that I do since he is out in Virginia a lot due to his job.

Duane and Steph had gone home on Saturday so they could get some yard work done without their son's help. Russ and I met with Duane and Steph in Mankato on Sunday for noon meal. We had a wonderful meal before parting ways.
