Cruising in the Bahamas

Colette & I went on a Cruise thanks to her boss. Her boss arranged for all his employees and companions to go on this trip. We left on Jan. 30th, stayed over in St. Paul. Then we left for Florida on the 31st in the early a.m. We got back home late Feb. 4th.

Here, Colette and I are trying out one of the exercise stations on Enchantment of the Seas ship (click HERE for ship information).
The weather was beautiful throughout the trip, with temps in the high 70's and low 80's. Sometimes, while out at sea, the wind was a bit chilly. But, with a light jacket, that wasn't a serious issue.

Here, I'm standing in cool water just off the shoreline of CocoCay, Bahamas. This day was also beautiful, with the sun warming us wonderfully.

Colette and I went Parasailing with a small part of our group. I think this was the highlight of the trip - soaring over the ocean.

Here, Colette and I stand by the Key West, FL Post Office sign to prove we actually were there. We happened across this when we were walking our way to some of the shops in Key West.
At this point, I extend a big Thank you out to Dr. Rubey and Sharon Rubey for planning the winter get away. Also, a big Thank you goes out to Colette for inviting me along.
