Corinne Update

When I got down to New Ulm hospital yesterday morning, visiting with Corinne, I found out that the someone from the Fairfax Nursing Home let her know that there is a room available for her. This morning Corinne called me to let me know that they want her at the Nursing home before noon on Friday (tomorrow). Thus, I will be meeting with Corinne between 10 and 10:30 tomorrow to take her up to Fairfax N.H.

While visiting with Corinne yesterday, she told me she was having trouble with low blood pressure (something she has never experienced before) and high glucose counts. The high glucose counts results were explained away by trama causing them to get off kilter. For now, the nurses are giving Corinne insulin shots. But as for the low blood pressure, we're not sure what's up with that. I am hoping all that stablizes before she heads to Fairfax tomorrow morning. As for her knee physical therapy, it's going slow, but the therapist told her she did good.

I most likely won't head on down to see her today. I'm catching up on laundry and stuff. On another note, the weather was supposed to be winter storm today. But the weather man moved it further south of us. As for tomorrow, the weather looks to be good for our trip back to Fairfax. Corinne shouldn't need to worry about slipping on any ice or fighting any increment weather.
