New Family Member - for David & Adrienne
Hopefully Adrienne does not read this tonight or tomorrow before David gets home. If so, Adrienne - act surprised!
I went to Grandma A's late this afternoon and picked up the addition. Adrienne was feeling sorry for a little kitty while she was at Grandma's place last weekend. David's heart went out to Adrienne's soft heart and he decided to get the kitty. The kitty needs some extra T.L.C. because it was born late September and Grandma wasn't going to make it a house cat in order for it to survive. Even though Grandma treated it with special care of making sure he and his siblings got plenty of food and milk, this one grew slowly and has a perpetual cold. So, since Adrienne was feeling so sorry for it, David decided to pick it up for her while in our neck of the woods this week. (David had originally decided not to get it due to the money factor. But, he caved! :).)
David has been in our neck of the woods since Tueday evening. He has been doing clinicals with a Doctor from Redwood Falls clinic. He'll be in Redwood till Friday afternoon. It will be then that he comes here to pick up the kitten. Then I will take him and the new addition to New Ulm. That is where he meets up with his ride share person to head back up to Duluth.
Since I'll be busy tending to Corinne for a period of time tomorrow - getting her back to Fairfax, I opted to pick up the kitten tonight. The baby will spend his time in the laundry/bathroom for tonight. I think he's already feeling extra special. He sauntered around my legs when I was monkeying in there while doing a bit of laundry. I sure hope Miles (D&A's 1st cat addition) manages o.k. I think he'll be surprised the most!
