Russ's Errand Day

This day was quite busy too. While I didn't hop out of bed real early, Russ's habit did cause him to be up by around 5:30. He started out the day slowly. But, after I got up, we headed to New Ulm. The travel trailer was still at Joe's Campers. We had delivered it there before Russ had gone to Virginia. Thus, it was there for about 2 weeks. The repairs should have been finished by now. But, Joe's Campers was planned to be our last stop. There were a few other things we wanted to do in New Ulm before pulling the trailer around and we didn't want to pull it all over the place.

We stopped at Walmart and looked at their furniture and kitchen supplies. Russ had signed up for an apartment in Norfolk, Virginia since parking the trailer out there wasn't feasible. Just before he got on the plane yesterday, he got a call from the apartment complex personnel, whom told him he could move in right away. Thus, Russ wanted to check out the price of furniture and see what might be available for a low cost. So, we spent a quite a bit of time checking out prices and gather our thoughts as to what things Russ may need.

After the Walmart stop, we made a couple other stops and found ourselves in Target after that. We looked at more furniture, finding items that Walmart didn't have. Then, we went grocery shopping and then went to Joe's Campers. The trailer was ready to go, so we paid the bill, then hooked up and went home.

By the time we got home, it was late afternoon. Russ has some electrical work that needs to be done, but that'll wait till tomorrow. We took time to look over our finances after getting home. While doing so, Ronny stopped by. We took care of necessary farm stuff with him amoungst talking with him and catching up on the latest news.

After Ronny went home, we took time to go to Bunkers. We caught up on the news with them and generally had a good time catching up on the latest with them. That is where the evening ended.
