Running Errands Day

After monkeying on the computer most of this monday morning, I ran some errands. They took me to New Ulm where I did a little banking and shopping. After that, I stopped at Corinne's house in Fairfax. I got there some time after 3 p.m.

She and I had a good chat. But, one of my reasons to stop was that I heard she had lost her balance last Friday and hurt herself. She had stumbled a bit over the garden hose near the house door. As she was falling, she landed on the hand rail. Her right back/shoulder blade hit the hand rail, resulting in quite a bit of pain.

She hurt so much that she opted out of going to church and going up to the Senior citizen center for her noon meal. While there, I asked if she had any chores she wanted done. We rounded up the trash and I took that out to the curb. The trash man would be picking up trash as early as 10 p.m. tonight.

I had chatted with Corinne so long that when the time was about 5:15 p.m., I asked her if she wanted me to make her some supper. She abliged and I made her a cheese burger. She had some salads in the refrigerator, so the only thing to prep was the burger. After the meal, I got her mail and washed dishes. By that time it was after 7 p.m.

I went home, talked to Russ awhile, did a little quilting and called it a night.
