Babysitting Mitchell

Anna called me this morning to see if I could watch Mitchell tonight. Daycare closes at 5:30 and Jeremy apparently was busy with spring work. She asked if I could pick him up from Daycare and watch him till she was done with Milking Chores @ Bodes or until Jeremy picks him up - whichever comes first. I said yes.

She stopped by and dropped off the car seat around 1:30 after working on the horse farm by Morton. That is where she is interning for awhile. It sounds like she'll be doing that through some of the summer months too.

After the car seat drop off, she headed for work after a short pit stop at home. I picked up Mitchell about 5:30 and watched him till about 9:30.

I forgot about his blankie at Daycare. Thus, he fussed through some of the night. Also, since I didn't have a crib, he and I "fought" settling down in the rocking chair. After a bit of struggling, I started singing and he seemed to settle down. He dozed from 8:30 or so till just before Anna came. That concludes our evening.
