Preparing for Spring Field Work

Today I rested. The events of last week, weekend and earlier this week took its toll on me. Thus, rest was a welcome venture. After Russ got home, Ronny called saying that he purchased a tractor and some other things from an auction that was held in Franklin today. Therefore, he needed help getting these items home. Below are pictures of the new purchase and of the guys working towards prepping for Spring Field work. With the warm winds of this week, the field work should be taking place very soon. I've heard rumors there have been some that have been out working up their fields already. (I haven't been off the place since Sunday night, thus haven't witnessed it myself.) Our fields are generally wetter than most other farmers' fields. Thus, we don't tend to be the first to be in the fields.
