Lots of Joy with Nicholas

I was watching Nicholas over the weekend because Duane & Steph were going to a baptism (Nicholas' cousin). Nicholas would have gone to, but he had a bad cold and they didn't want to spread it to the infant.

So, Nicholas and I made the best of it.

Nicholas had just as much fun with these cubes as the cat(s) do. These cubes are meant to be cat toys. And the cats do enjoy them. (I've babysat D & A's cat, Miles. Miles & Jinny have lots of fun tearing through the house, whipping through the cubes as part of their play).


The smile in this photo reminds me so much of Russ' smile. I don't always see the paternal family resemblance in Nicholas. But I do here.
