Nicholas Visits Great Gma A

We were running out of milk Tueday night. So the plan was that Nicholas and I go grocery shopping right away Wednesday morning because Nicholas should be the most happy at that point. Than if all went well (and we didn't have a melt down while shopping) we'd head to Great Grandma A's for a visit. Well, all went well. We did a little shopping at Target. And than we went to Cashwise. All I needed to do for Nicholas was give him some more juice in his sippy cup, and all was going well in the world. We headed to G-Gma A's. Below are some pictures of the day.
That cat is so entertaining! Before leaving for the day, Nicholas spun Ginny around in circles while she perched on the back of the chair. Oh, so much fun, till the top heavy chair tipped over. Oh, Oh. Oh, well. The cat lived and Nicholas learned that it wasn't all so bad, after wiping a couple tears away - tears came cuz the fun ended.
Nicholas is perched in the south bay window in G-Gma's living room. You know. The one that C.J. has her bed in. He is checking out the cats that are enjoying the sunny day on the warm side of the house.

Here, Nicholas and G-Gma are enjoying the warm side of the house too. I had to take this picture because it proves that Nicholas is getting along swell with her. He doesn't normally warm up very quickly to new people. I guess G-Gma has the nack!

G-Gma had to have Nicholas perched on the L.P. tank because all her grandchildren have done that in the past. It's his turn now!
After this, we had to go inside to get our coats on so we could explore more of the outdoors. Tell a 2 yr old that wants to stay out that we have to go inside to get our coats. A few "no's" and some resistance resulted from the idea of going inside. But, as you can see below, we managed.

Here Nicholas and I explore G-Uncle Charlie's fish house. Oh, so many things to explore!

Nicholas rides the trike. His legs were a bit short. So, him using the pedals just wasn't in the cards today.

Someone didn't want to come in when we were done outside! He through a bit of a fit. But, he servived! Look at those rosy cheeks and nose. What great times!
After coming inside, we played with C.J. some more. That helped a bunch. I actually think that C.J. was a big reason why Nicholas warmed up to G-Gma so quickly.
While G-Gma and Nicholas were playing, I got G-Gma onto facebook. We wanted to do that so she could view Duane's pictures. So if you have some pictures you want to share with her and are on facebook and not currently her friend, please look her up and add her to your friends list. Some day she will have faster internet and be able to view those pictures in a more timely fashion. So, encourage her. I'm sure she'll need it!
Oh, by the way, Nicholas and I gave G-Gma A a digital camera of her own now. Most of the pictures on this posting are from her camera. She'll need a little help learning how to store them on her computer. I ran out of time to help her with that. It was getting late after I got done getting her started with facebook. So we went home after that.
We had a great time at G-Gma's place this day.
