Steph update

Steph will be staying longer than Tuesday (today). They want to make sure she is doing really good before going home, since she has two little ones to care for when she gets home.

As of last night, she was allowed to start eating on ice chips. They want to slowly re-introduce her to food so they can make sure her digestive system is working properly. Duane said the next step was to introduce water. Please continue to keep Steph in your thoughts in prayers.

Duane will give me an update again some time later on today.

I've been caring for Nicholas since Sunday night. He has been a joy to have around. Today we vacuumed the living room and dining room floors and the stairs. We also went upstairs and vacuumed the asian beetles from my bedroom and Nicholas' bedroom.
Apparently vacuuming is hard work, because Nicholas was all tuckered out and hungry when we got done. I fed him some of my sloppy joe bbq and slowly "talked" him into nap time. He was resistant to the napping idea. But, after about a half hour of talking him into it, I took him up to the crib for his nap. He then proceeded to cry for maybe five minutes. Now he's out. Grandma's place wears him out pretty good.
