Central Lutheran Ladies Quilting

These ladies from Central Lutheran Church spend approximately one Monday afternoon a month together tying quilts. I think we tied over 10 quilts this day. While Sylvia S., Pat S., Dorothy H., Inga B. and Rita D. were assembling and tying quilts, Corinne was pinning the edges. All the fabric used in these quilts is donated - mostly annonymous givers. The fabric is left in the basement storage room. Then one of these members generously finds time to take that fabric and piece it together for tops, bottoms, and middles. The quilts are used to fulfill mission work.

Left: Corinne had previously pieced together this quilt using old garments she no longer wore. Here, she is pinning the border so it will be ready for someone to take home and finish.
