Snow Day

While Russ has been working, I watched the movie, "The Color Purple" starring Whoopi Goldburg, this afternoon. I thought it was an excellent movie. If interested, you can get some details regarding this movie on
http://music.msn.com/movies/movie.aspx?m=100029. After the movie, I went outside to get some Snow pictures. I believe that we've gotten more snow today then we have all winter, up to this point. And, it's still snowing, lightly. I hope the pictures show this good enough. (I hope the wind isn't an issue when Russ comes home tonight. I've checked the weather forecast. It says 10 mph wind. I don't think that should be a problem.)


Here, Doobie's been fooling us real good. She hasn't wanted to climb steps for the longest time, due to her Osteoarthritis. We've been giving her Previcox since before Christmas. Before that, she could hardly move. We thought we'd have to put her to sleep. After the med, she acts many years younger. But, she still hasn't wanted to climb the stairs to our 2nd floor. (The stairs into the house is no problem.) So, I thought she was still hurting. She sure fooled me. Also, pre-Previcox, she didn't go into the haybarn anymore. WELL, she did today. Those pigeons roosting in the hay barn are a bigger lure than me being upstairs. The last picture is my attempt to show you that she jumped out of the haybarn door, just as she needed to do to get inside! That picture was a quick snapshot, and I wasn't sure I was going to get anything, since she was coming my way at a pretty good clip! SHE'S FEELING BETTER!
