I visited an old friend today. Maybe I should rephrase that -- I visited a YOUNG friend :).

Friends are great. We went to the local coffee shop and spent the afternoon catching up.

We live only miles away, but rarely see each other any more. Our paths seperated. Life sometimes does that.

We've known each other for many years, but the friendship really started when we started riding together to MN State U, Mankato back in 2001(?). The hour there, then back again gave us plenty opportunity to get to know each others quirkiness, share school stories, and laugh at the oddest things. She began referring to me as the Lady-I-Ride-With and I referred to her as the Blond Lunitic - JUST KIDDING INGERID!!!! (Hope that one makes you chuckle.)

The afternoon was too short. Ingerid, hope we can do this again soon.
