Evening with Russ

Russ came back from work around 6 p.m. We got ready to go out. And then we went out to a local bar and grill named Captain's Cabin in the big town of Washburn, ND. Russ had the special, prime rib and I had shrimp dinner. Both of us enjoyed our meal.

Saturday nights Captain's Cabin has bingo night. The have 4 rounds of games. We got in on the 4th, never expecting to win. They have rules that if you get regular bingo in so many calls, you win $100. If you win blackout bingo in so many calls, you win $500. Then if you win in so many more calls - if no one has had blackout bingo in the first amount of calls, you win $200. Then the $ amount goes done considerably after that. No one won blackout bingo to get the $500 amount before I got a bingo. (If they had, the number calling would have been done.) It looked to me like we weren't going to win. The caller kept on calling though. And I won! Yippee. I won $20. :) That went 1/2 way to pay our meals for the evening. Cool!

After that, Russ had another beer. Then we went back to the hotel. We got back about 9 p.m. Since Russ worked the 10 hour day, he was pretty exhausted. So he resigned on the bed, snoozing before I started this.

He's not the only one exhausted. I got a text message from Steph. She said they are all exhausted too. She said she'd give me a call tomorrow. I'm looking forward to her call.
