Not Much

I went to town for a Doctor's appointment this a.m. They needed to do the annual Lab tests on me - taking some blood. I'll get the results tomorrow. After the appointment I headed home.


Then Ronny called me. He needed a ride up to B & R Repair - a local tractor repair shop. He brought the tractor home and needed a ride back up there to get his pickup.

Then back home again. I watched some t.v. until it was time to go the W.E.L.C.A. meeting in afternoon. I found out some of the latest - not much. During the meeting we discussed whether to continue with having the annual meatball supper. We ladies don't feel we have enough ladies any more to perform such a big task - that and many of them are up there in age so they don't have the stamina any more. But someone mentioned that the men said they would help. So it was decided that we should have a vote from the whole congregation to decide this matter. So it was table for future meetings.

The Mother-Daughter banquet is coming up too. I think they said it's planned for Friday after Easter, making it April 17th. I'm not sure if that is the exact date. It may be Saturday the 18th. I'll have to consult someone on that matter. The price for the tickets will hold at $5.00 a piece again (no regard for age since the price is so low). I need to remember to ask Steph, Adrienne and Mom if they are interested in going. (I expect Corinne is already planning on attending since she already knows about it.)

After the meeting I went home and found Ronny working on the digger. I went down by the shed to see how it was going. I assisted ever so slightly. Since it was chilly outside with only a sweatshirt, I told him to let me know when he needed any more assistance and I'd go to the house. He did not contact me about this any further today.

I headed to the house and bummed the rest of the evening away. Russ called me around 7:30 and we chatted for just over a half hour. Otherwise, not much happened today. I did see on Facebook that Steph had a couple doctor appointments today. I've been thinking about her often. I hope all is going well.

I'm expecting to hear from D&A pretty soon. They should need to do laundry pretty soon. I look forward to those times so we can chat.

I haven't heard from Justin in a little while. His phone isn't working properly. So calling him doesn't seem to be an option. I can text him - which I have - but sometimes I'd just like to do the regular talking.

I need to contact the 3 families and see if they are able to come home over Easter weekend. Dad will be home then. It would be a nice time for us all to catch up. But, since they have inlaws to concern themselves, I'm not sure we'll be able to pull it off. Plus Justin may have to work this holiday weekend. Don't know yet.
