Jay Cook Park Photos

Doobie and I went to Jay Cook Park by Carlton, MN last Friday, June 1st when we were up by Russ. Doobie enjoyed the trip. Here are some pictures from our trek:

The St. Louis River runs through Jay Cook Park. When I took Doobie near the river, she wanted to head down and investigate. She may have been hot and wanted to head down to cool off. Thank God that I had a leash on her. I probably would have lost her down the rushing river.

This is the view from the swing bridge looking up stream.
Notice the fork in the River.

Those pics of Doobie in the water make me miss Snowy but then, so does seeing food crumbs on the floor. I actually told Mya this AM that we may need to get another dog after Lily gets here and adjusts. I really am nuts. Jay Cook is a fun park. We've gotta go there again. Haven't been since before Erin was born!!
